My Background

I am originally from Massachusetts (Boston sports fan through and through!) but have lived in Vermont for nearly 30 years.  I married a native Vermonter and have raised my two boys in this gorgeous state that has become my home. I completed a degree in Psychology at McGill University and then came to Vermont to complete my graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology at UVM.

I found the field of Speech-Language Pathology and found a career I am passionate about where I can combine my love of helping people with my curiosity for learning and natural inclination to communicate.

My other passions include reading, running and playing games!

My Approach

I believe that I am a facilitator  - supporting individuals in their development or in their recovery.

Therapy is about a creating a relationship that is centered around sharing knowledge with individuals and teams that moves folks towards achieve their goals for communication.

I also strive to be an advocate for spaces and practices that are  inclusive, accessible, promote affirmation and participation and allow all of us to share our unique humanness!
